The „Pilsots” community is a dedicated association focused on reconstructing the history, crafts, and military practices of the Baltic Vikings or the Curonian tribe. Established in 2015, they aim to authentically recreate the material heritage of the Curonian tribe, including weapons, adornments, clothing, and more. The community emphasizes accuracy and collaborates with scholars, museums, and skilled craftsmen. They have invested significant resources in reconstructing materials from Curonian graves, establishing the Curonian History Museum and recreating archaeological ensembles. The reconstructions provide a new perspective on the pre-medieval Curonia and the Viking era, challenging misconceptions and showcasing the rich heritage of the valiant Curonians. Qualified historians conduct living history demonstrations, offering an interactive experience for viewers.
