Belgian Lithuanian folk group “Rasodas” (lead by Rasa Gražienė) will perform the main rites and ceremonial songs.
The folk group, formed in 2015 after the Midsummer celebration, is now in its 8th season and has enriched the Lithuanian community in Belgium with various traditional calendar events and concerts. Its highlights include the annual St. John festivities and the traditional Christmas concert at Brussels Cathedral. Next year, the folk group, having grown into a full ensemble, plans to participate in the centennial Song Festival in Vilnius. The ensemble aims to approach folklore in a creative and free manner, in order to present it in our modern world in a unique and relevant way. Its goal is to make this singing heritage their own personal expression, rather than merely a copy or repetition.

His music incorporates both traditional and archaic wind instruments, and his performances are full of energy and a wealth of emotions. With over 50 different instruments at his disposal, his shows resemble a colorful journey where the sounds of Baltic and Scandinavian worlds intertwine. Saulius’s music is warmly received by diverse audiences, particularly loved by families.

After dark, the celebration will be crowned with a spectacular Fire Show performed by the Medieval Knights.
The fire performance “INFERNO” is a show by four fire performers accompanied by emotional instrumental music. In the torch-illuminated space, you will witness a mesmerizing fire theatre that stands out from traditional fire performances. INFERNO has been officially recognized as the best fire show in Lithuania, having won against other groups in the fire show competition “Pasaka”.
